APPRENTICESHIP – TRAINEE LEGAL SECRETARIES

We are seeking two eager to learn and enthusiastic Trainee Legal Secretaries. You’ll experience several departments throughout your apprenticeship to fully understand the ins and outs of a well-established law firm. You will also gain a Level 3 Business & Administration qualification.

The main duties of a Trainee Legal Secretary include:

  • gaining full knowledge of various applications used in each department;
  • audio typing;
  • dealing directly with clients/lawyers/in-house staff via telephone and email;
  • conflict checks;
  • making appointments;
  • completing Land Registry searches; and
  • drafting standard letters, terms of business, and letters of authority.
