Employment Update – Sickness and Holiday


The Court of Appeal has recently decided in the case of NHS Leeds v Larner that a worker who was on sick leave for the whole of the holiday year, and had not taken any annual leave during this period, was entitled to payment in lieu of her statutory holiday entitlement on the termination of her employment.
