Protecting intellectual property on the increase
The European Patent Office (EPO) received more than 265,000 patent filings in 2013. This represents a 2.8{ba3215b0bf35eaeb06be458b3396ffbfc50bb9db10c9ff1594dfc3875e90ea48} increase over 2012 and demonstrates that companies and individuals believe that protecting their intellectual property shows a return on investment.
