Southampton Legal Walk – Paris Smith raise nearly £500 for local causes

Last week 14 of our lawyers took part in the Southampton Legal Walk and raised an incredible £485 for Citizens Advice Southampton and other agencies in Hampshire. The 10km walk kicked off from the Combined Court in London Road.

Jonathan White, solicitor in the Corporate team, who organised the walk said “With our roots in the local community, we are fully aware of the fantastic job the local advice agencies do in preventing homelessness, resolving debt problems, obtaining care of the elderly and disabled and fighting exploitation. We understand the constant challenge on resources they face. Given that some of the most vulnerable people in the region are reliant on the advice and services of the advice agencies, it was a pleasure to give our time to raise, both awareness of and funds for, the work they do”.
