Who’s looking out for your mental health at work?
Mental health at work is a key concern for the business community, as many businesses are beginning to take notice of their mental health support systems and recognise how supporting staff through policies, activities and procedures is beneficial all round.
We were delighted to contribute to a recent Daily Echo article with other local business experts, talking all about our own mental health and wellbeing initiatives. Our HR Director Paula Al-Yousif said, “Mental health and wellbeing is very close to the hearts of many people within our business; we want to openly recognise this and create a culture where people feel they can talk openly and feel supported. We already had existing mental health support in place together with wellbeing benefits and initiatives. However, we wanted to implement more creative ways to bring people together, provide information and have some fun along the way.”
This article follows our hugely successful inaugural ‘Wellbeing Week‘ for staff, and the exciting news that we have been shortlisted in the Workplace Mental Health and wellbeing’ category in the Solent Business Awards.
