14:00 - 16:00 GMT
Wed 16th Jun 2021
This course is aimed at businesses who are either thinking about employing people from overseas (including EU nationals) for the first time or those who are looking to recruit more people from overseas (including EU nationals) and do not feel 100% confident with this ever-changing area, particularly in the light of post-Brexit changes to the immigration system. The course will help you understand the process, responsibilities and costs of recruiting employees from overseas.
We will cover right to work checks, the process for obtaining a sponsor licence, sponsor duties, recruiting from overseas under the new points based Skilled Worker visa (including what roles can be sponsored and salary requirements) and how to transfer employees from an overseas office into the UK.
Who should attend?
The ideal delegates for this course would be HR managers and line managers with responsibility for recruiting overseas employees, who are either dealing with such recruitment for the first time or who need an update in light of post-Brexit changes to the immigration system.
