This training session will look at the legal issues in relation to managing mental ill-health in the work place. It will look at best practice steps of full day to day management, looking at medical reports and support that is necessary and will also look at the effects of long term mental ill-health absence. We will also look at the particular issues surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic and the mental health issues we are now regularly facing in light of the response to the pandemic. The attendees should leave with a grounded understanding for legal aspects of managing mental ill-health and also some practical tips for dealing with the matters.
