I provide specialist advice on family law combined with a practical approach. My aim is always to support my clients with an approachable and helpful attitude whilst maintaining a high level of service.
I deal with divorce/separation cases that involve complex financial issues, for example involving significant pensions, partnerships, trusts, substantial property or businesses. In relation to unmarried families I prepare and advise upon living together agreements as well as claims on the breakdown of a relationship.
In relation to children, I deal with disputes about where children should live, contact, specific issues such as schooling or religious upbringing. I also deal with relocation cases within the UK and abroad. I also undertake cases where there are financial claims for children, both within divorce and outside.
I advise upon all issues relating to mediation, including financial and children disputes.
I have appeared as an expert on Legal Network Televistion (LNTV) including the recent programme on implications for solicitors dealing with litigants in person in family proceedings.
Collaborative law in practice – hear from the people who really matter: the clients. The couple in this film are real-life graduates of the collaborative law process who have agreed to share their experiences. In it, they talk about the process itself, some of the difficult issues in their case, and what the process has meant for their future as a family.
Sarah combines empathy with a forensic knowledge of her subject, which is impressive. A trip to the lawyer is not something high on most people’s idea of fun, however, it says a lot about Sarah that I still look back on experiences with her in a positive light.
- Matt Stone, Founder ROI
I have been hugely impressed with the professionalism and personable service we have received from Sarah Passemard and Rachel Osgood in dealing with what was a very sensitive and emotive issue. At all stages, the advice and guidance we received has been honest, clear and eminently professional whilst simultaneously being empathetic to the emotional distress that has been involved. I have also been impressed at the willingness to continue to support the family in a less conventional manner, which I had not expected would be possible. I have no doubt our family would be worse-off had it not been for the support and actions of Sarah and Rachel, and I would thoroughly recommend them to anyone.
- Sue Jones regarding Sarah Passemard
Sarah Passemard is named as a key member of the Family team at Paris Smith, ranked as tier 1 firm for family law.
A huge thank you to you and Sarah. Your service, kindness, personal touch and stellar legal advice has been a godsend. The situation in which I have found myself has been incredibly isolating and having had legal representation that has been dismissive, and at times, deliberately confrontational in terms of trying to sell the houses and purchase another one, it is only more apparent how excellent your service is. Both of you are the only ones who know the full story and as a result, have been the only people on my side; and all done with humour and support.
- Anonymous for Rachel and Sarah
Sarah and Rachel were absolutely fantastic and I cannot thank them enough for helping me to go through a difficult time. They were always available, professional, diligent and wise but more importantly they were extremely good listeners and very human. They are amazing family lawyers and I would wholeheartedly recommend them.
