Private Client Family Law Firm    Chambers & Partners Top Ranked Firm 2021    Legal 500 Top Tier Firm 2021

I am a solicitor in the Family team specialising in:

  • divorce, separation and relationship breakdown;
  • financial claims in respect of properties, other assets, debts, pensions and maintenance;
  • occupation of the family home and domestic violence; and
  • disputes relating to all aspects of the upbringing of children.

I have practised exclusively in family law for over 10 years and spent the first seven years of my career at central London law firms where I gained invaluable experience.

My work is centred on family finances, including complex multi-million pound financial provision cases. I also have a particular interest in children cases, and as a governor of a local school have gained useful insight. As well as bringing legal expertise, I strive to build a caring and supportive relationship with my clients, guiding them through the most overwhelming times of their lives. I keenly assess each client’s situation and tailor an approach best suited to achieve the optimum result.

My client base includes company directors, professionals and musicians. I occasionally advise Eastern European individuals as I have an understanding of their cultures and speak Bulgarian fluently.

I am a member of Resolution and the Hampshire Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy.

Some of the highlights of my experience include:

  • advising on appropriate financial provision and settling cases involving businesses, trusts and overseas assets;
  • acting for a client with an extensive property portfolio and agreeing a suitable financial settlement;
  • resolving complicated children cases, often with an international element;
  • acting for a father in a high conflict case and obtaining a court order to reverse the status quo, so that his daughter is removed from the mother’s care and is placed to live
    with him
  • advising in respect of entrenched cohabitee disputes and reaching resolutions both within and outside the court arena; and
  • successfully negotiating the terms of co-habitation and separation agreements.

For me it has been an emotional roller-coaster. Your steady support throughout has been greatly appreciated, as was your openness and understanding during our meeting. I was still very much in two minds about taking any further action at that time, but I found your professional approach and due consideration comforting and filled me with enough confidence to proceed with actions.
