Paris Smith LLP is continuing its 15-year relationship with the Co-operative Group, following a highly competitive tender process which resulted in a slimmed-down panel of eight firms.
Paris Smith has worked with the Co-op since 2003, sitting on its panel primarily for property work. The new three-year contract sees Paris Smith join the combined panel advising the national brand on commercial, litigation, property and corporate matters.
The Client Partner Rachel Saint said: “We are delighted to have been re-appointed to the Panel in what was an extremely competitive process. It is a testament not only to the hard work and the relationships we have built with the Co-op to date, but also it shows the strength and expertise we also have in the Retail Sector and in the other commercial and corporate disciplines.”
Paris Smith’s pitch was lead by Rachel Saint supported by senior partner Nick Vaughan, corporate and commercial partners Crispin Dick, Jonathon Roy and Richard Atcherley, litigation partner David Eminton, property partner Edward Watson and property senior associate, Hannah Winchester.
The other firms on the panel include Allen & Overy, Fieldfisher, Addleshaw Goddard, Pinsent Masons, Hill Dickinson, Brodies and Squire Patton Boggs.
