Hampshire law firm, Paris Smith LLP is joining forces with local food group Hampshire Fare in a new partnership agreement.

Hampshire Fare was established in 1991 by a small group of farmers to support and raise awareness of the food and drink produced locally. Twenty-six years on and the not-for-profit group works with 400 members which include farmers, cheesemakers, butchers, wine makers, brewers and the pubs, restaurants and shops that serve and sell their products.

It is the drive and passion of the food group to support local businesses which attracted the firm which has offices in Southampton and Winchester, to collaborate with Hampshire Fare.

Peter Taylor, Managing Partner at Paris Smith LLP, commented on the draw to work closely with Hampshire Fare: “The synergy of values and a shared sense of purpose in enabling businesses to reach their full potential and to showcase everything that Hampshire has to offer. We are driven by helping clients achieve their dreams, whatever those look like, through our technical legal knowledge or our extensive networks. Likewise we seek to help businesses and individuals overcome the challenges which they may face. We like to find solutions for success.”

Paris Smith will be drawing on the firm’s expertise in a range of fields including employment law, immigration law, brand and data protection as well as a range of other commercial, property, planning, and personal law advice to assist members of Hampshire Fare. The firm, which celebrates its bicentenary in 2018, is recognised in the legal directories for its breadth and depth of knowledge.

Tracy Nash, Commercial Manager, commented: “We are really looking forward to working with Paris Smith LLP and discovering the mutual benefits we can bring to our members. Their experience and knowledge will be of advantage to so many of the different local businesses we support. We were drawn to their core values and their genuine eagerness to be hands on and do what they can to help our members.”
