Paris Smith LLP was recently awarded ‘Law Firm of the Year’ at the Hampshire Law Society awards at the Hilton Ageas.
The firm, celebrating its 200th anniversary this year, has been recognised for its commitment to the region at the leading black-tie event in the local legal calendar.
The Hampshire Law Society Awards recognises and rewards law firms in Hampshire, highlighting professional excellence and encouraging healthy competition within the local legal industry. The award is based on reputation, experience, acumen and professionalism.
Peter Taylor, Paris Smith’s Managing Partner, was also a runner up for the ‘Lawyer of the Year’ accolade for his skills and extensive network, which enables his aspirational and dynamic clients to achieve their business goals and objectives.
Peter commented: “I’m delighted to see our ongoing commitment to the region being recognised by the Hampshire Law Society, with the highly sought-after ‘Law Firm of the Year’ award. It is also great to be runner up for the Lawyer of the Year title, highlighting how passionately I feel about wanting my clients to succeed in all that they do and in doing so, minimising the need for the distress purchase of legal services and engaging lawyers for positive reasons.”
This award follows Paris Smith being awarded the Southampton Business Award 2018 by the Hampshire Chamber of Commerce in the ‘Established/Long Standing Business’ category. The firm has also been nominated for ‘Law Firm of the Year’ in the South and Midlands region at the Lawyer Awards, Europe’s largest celebration of legal excellence in Europe.
