Why we are supporting The Knights Foundation
The vision of The Knights Foundation to make memories for families who are touched by disability is inspiring. Paris Smith instantly connected with the opportunity to enable people to have a holiday in a luxury lodge adapted and equipped to meet their needs so as they can relax, re-charge their batteries and enjoy each other’s company. We would encourage all to support the Teddy Bear Appeal. £10 per month will give families with disabilities a holiday dream come true experience. For many of them such holidays would be out of reach.
Paris Smith’s purpose is aligned to enabling success and dreams to be realised. The synergy with The Knights Foundation which shares our life values makes the partnership so exciting. Here more about our partnership from Managing Partner, Peter Taylor:
How can we help you?
Planning for the future of a vulnerable child or adult can be a very daunting thought. Not only that, it can be distressing to think about. We are here to support you and help you make informed decisions by explaining what the options/possibilities are. This could relate to your Will and what provision you wish to make for the vulnerable child or adult, to ensure they are protected.
You may need advice about making decisions for the vulnerable child when they become an adult – be that for finances and/or health and welfare. It may also be that you are having difficulties with your Local Authority about funding for any care needed. Listen in more detail from Partner Elizabeth Power about options available to parents when a vulnerable child turns 18:
We can discuss your concerns/hopes and help you make an informed decision for such future planning.
Please visit our Mental Capacity & Managing Affairs page for further information on how we can help you.
If you have any worries or concerns please contact Elizabeth Power.
