This February Paris Smith hosted its second ever wellbeing week. All 250 staff had the opportunity to attend various virtual sessions throughout the week.
To kick off the week all staff were sent a treat box which contained healthy snacks.
The sessions were designed to help staff with all aspects of wellbeing. Virtual art classes and an ‘at your desk’ spa session were a big hit, alongside sleep workshops, nutrition advice and yoga classes.
The firm has a real focus on mental health and building resilience with its teams. Over the last few years there have been various workshops and initiatives to support staff through tough times.
Managing Partner Peter Taylor has been very open and honest with staff about his own mental health struggles, encouraging staff to share when they need a bit of extra support. Peter commented; “To ensure that your staff can reach their full potential and be the best version of themselves, it is vital that you enable them to be at their best, both physically and mentally. This is why the wellbeing of all members of our firm is so important. It is an integral part of our culture.”
