My experience
I am a Partner in the Corporate, Commercial and Finance Team at Paris Smith. I trained and qualified at a City firm before relocating to the South Coast. I have over 15 years’ experience advising on a range of corporate, commercial and finance matters, including:
- Share sales and acquisitions
- Business/ asset sales and acquisitions
- Management buyouts
- Shareholders’ Agreements and Articles of Association
- Share fundraisings
- Preparing a company for a sale
- Share buybacks
- Share reorganisations and corporate governance matters
- Advising lenders and borrowers on lending and security arrangements, whether company or private loans to family and friends
- Refinancings
- Independent legal advice on personal guarantees
- Commercial contracts such as terms and conditions for the sale and supply of goods and services, distribution agreements and franchise agreements.
I act for a range of SMEs and owner-managed businesses across a variety of sectors. I also have experience working on cross-border transactions involving multiple jurisdictions and local lawyers.
