My experience
I am a solicitor in the Family Department, helping clients through some of the most challenging times in their lives and working to achieve the best possible outcomes for the clients I represent.
I work closely with a partner and an associate in the team and undertake work in all aspects of family law including:
- divorce and dissolution of a civil partnership;
- financial matters arising from a relationship breakdown;
- cohabitation and separation;
- private children matters; and
- domestic abuse.
As a trainee and a newly qualified solicitor, I have worked on a variety of financial and children matters. This has included financial remedies work in the Family Court and the High Court, as well as contested children proceedings under Section 8 of the Children Act 1989 and proceedings under the Family Law Act 1996. In all cases and at all stages, I take a practical and cost-effective approach to the issues at hand, whilst remaining approachable and sympathetic during these difficult periods.
I am based in our Southampton office but I can meet clients in any of our offices, or remotely.
I am a member of Resolution, a national family law association which advocates for a non-confrontational and constructive approach to the practice of family law.
My academic background includes a BA in History, a Graduate Diploma in Law and a LLM in Legal Practice. Prior to joining Paris Smith, I completed a training contract at a firm in London. I qualified as a solicitor in September 2025 and joined Paris Smith in May 2026.
