A Haven for those with breast cancer opens its doors


Paris Smith is delighted to share the news that its charity of the year, The Wessex Haven, has opened its doors after a two-year fundraising campaign. The charity which provides much needed support for those diagnosed with breast cancer and their families.

The Haven charity opened its fourth regional centre in a Grade 2 listed building at Titchfield, near Fareham, Hampshire on 23rd October.

Pamela Healy OBE, The Haven’s chief executive, and BBC South Today’s Sally Taylor, who was chairwoman of the fundraising committee conducted the formalities. The Centre which has three therapy rooms offers a range of services including counselling, exercise and complementary therapies.

Peter Taylor, Paris Smith’s Managing Partner had a preview of the Centre prior to its official opening. “I was blown away by what the Centre has to offer and the passion and expertise which all working for Wessex Haven is able provide to those who receive what can be life changing news that flows from hearing that you or one of your nearest and dearest have breast cancer “
