BY CAR
Driving directions to 1 London Road from the South, assuming you are coming from, say, Holbury, Hythe, Marchwood:
- Head north on the A326
- This road connects much of the southern New Forest area to Southampton
- Follow signs for Totton and Southampton
- Merge onto the M271 Northbound
- At Totton, join the M271 heading toward the city
- Take the exit toward City Centre (A33)
- Follow signs for Southampton City Centre via the A33 (Millbrook Road East)
- Continue onto West Quay Road
- Pass the shopping areas and head toward Civic Centre
- Turn left onto Havelock Road
- This leads you past the Sea City Museum and into the heart of the City
- Turn right onto London Road
- You’ll find 1 London Road near the junction with Brunswick Place, close to the Jury’s Inn and the Law Courts
Driving directions to 1 London Road from the East, assuming you are coming from, say, Chichester or Portsmouth:
- Start on the A27 Westbound
- Head west from Chichester or Portsmouth, following signs for Southampton
- Merge onto the M27 Westbound
- Continue on the M27 toward Southampton
- Stay on for about 20-25 minutes depending on your starting point
- Take Exit 5 for A335 (Stoneham Way)
- Follow signs for Southampton City Centre
- Continue on A335 (Thomas Lewis Way)
- This road leads directly into the city and becomes Bevois Valley Road
- Turn right onto Charlotte Place
- You’ll pass the Jury’s Inn and the Law Courts
- Turn left onto London Road
- 1 London Road will be just ahead, near the junction with Brunswick Place

- Start on the A35 Eastbound
- Head toward Lyndhurst and Totton, following signs for Southampton
- Merge onto the M271 Northbound
- At Totton, join the M271 heading toward the city

- Follow signs for Southampton City Centre via the A33 (Millbrook Road East)
- Continue onto West Quay Road

What are your office hours?
Our office hours are 8.30 am until 5.00 pm
Do I need an appointment, or do you accept walk-ins?
Yes you will need to book an appointment. You can do this by email completing one of the contact forms on our website or telephoning our Reception on 023 8048 2482.

Do you offer legal aid services?
No, unfortunately we don’t offer legal aid.
What should I bring to my first meeting?
When you book your appointment you will be told what you need to bring with you, but typically this will be proof of identification and any relevant documents to your case.
Do you offer virtual consultations?
Yes we are happy to see clients either in person, on the phone, via Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Facetime or any other suitable online software.
What areas of law do you practice?
We are a full service law firm offering services that include corporate and commercial, commercial property, dispute resolution, employment, family, immigration, residential property, planning, wills, trusts & probate.
How quickly can I expect a response?
When you first contact Paris Smith, we hope to reply to you on the same day, typically within a couple of hours, work depending.
Where is your office located and is there parking available?
Our Southampton office is at 1 London Road, Southampton, SO15 2AE. We have limited visitor parking spaces (accessed via the back of our building in Bedford Place) operated on a first come first served basis. In addition to this there are 2 public car parks situated a couple of minutes walk from the office (see map for locations).
Do you handle cases outside Hampshire?
Yes, we have clients across the UK and abroad. With the availability of virtual consultations and email, telephone, we are able to service clients far and wide.
