My experience
I am a solicitor in the family team, having qualified in October 2025. Prior to qualification, I trained with Paris Smith and spent a year working exclusively within the department, gaining early exposure to a wide range of family law matters. This experience provided me with a strong foundation in both the legal and practical aspects of family work.
Since qualifying, I have continued to work closely with partners in the Family team, advising clients across all areas of family law. This includes divorce and separation, financial settlements following relationship breakdown, cohabitation issues, private children matters, and domestic abuse cases. When court involvement is necessary, I attend court with clients, supporting them throughout hearings and ensuring they feel prepared and reassured at every stage.
I have experience advising clients on financial matters, including cases involving company structures, assets held in different jurisdictions, and inherited wealth. I also have experience in private children proceedings, including assisting clients with applications for child arrangements orders, schedule 1 claims, and specific issue order applications. In cohabitation matters, my experience includes assisting unmarried couples following relationship breakdown and advising and preparing living together agreements.
My approach is centred on ensuring clients feel supported, heard, and guided through what is often a highly emotional and stressful time. It is my goal to work in a way that ensures clients feel confident with their legal team and that matters are handled proportionately. I aim to provide clear, pragmatic advice and to help clients navigate the process in a way that best meets their needs.
As a member of Resolution, the national organisation of family justice professionals, I am committed to resolving disputes constructively, non confrontationally and cost effectively. I share Resolution’s ethos and strive to help clients achieve positive and practical outcomes wherever possible.
I am primarily based in our Southampton office, but I am happy to meet clients at any of our offices or remotely, depending on their preference.
