Solicitor - Dispute Resolution

My experience

I am a solicitor in the Dispute Resolution department, based at our Winchester office. I am happy to meet clients at any of the firm’s locations, or remotely. My main area of practice is contentious trusts and probate matters, which consist of:

  • challenges to the validity of wills and codicils, including undue influence, issues relating to execution, testamentary capacity, lack of knowledge and approval, fraud;
  • proprietary estoppel claims;
  • Inheritance Act claims;
  • disputes between personal representatives;
  • maladministration (devastavit) by executors and administrators;
  • breach of duty by trustees and attorneys;
  • removal of executors and trustees; and
  • caveats, warnings, appearances and citations.

I’m regularly involved in County Court and High Court litigation. I act for both claimants and defendants and have lots of experience in advising on matters from the pre-action stage through to litigation. In order to achieve the best possible outcomes for my clients, I consider and advise on settlement, alternative dispute resolution, costs and risk from the outset.

I have experience of a wide range of contentious matters, acting for both companies and individuals. I am able to advise and represent clients in the following property-related matters:

  • disputes concerning beneficial ownership of property, declarations of trust and implied resulting or constructive trusts;
  • residential possession proceedings including the recovery of rent arrears; and
  • trespass.

I am happy to be contacted directly to discuss new enquiries with prospective clients.
